๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Tickets & Products

Set up tickets, products, pricing tiers, and categories.

1 Adding Tickets & Products

VibePass supports several pricing models depending on what you're selling — entry tickets, merchandise, or donation-based access.

Pricing types

  • Paid — a fixed price in KES
  • Free — no payment required, still requires registration
  • Donation / Pay what you want — buyer sets their own price, optionally with a minimum
  • Tiered — multiple price points for the same ticket (see Tiered Pricing)
  1. From your event, go to the Tickets tab.
  2. Click Add Ticket or Add Product (for merchandise/non-entry items).
  3. Set name, description, price, and quantity available.
  4. Optionally set a sale start/end date and a per-order purchase limit.
Products vs. Tickets Use Products for items that don't grant event entry — merch, add-ons, parking passes. Use Tickets for anything that should generate a scannable entry pass.

2 Tiered Pricing

Sell the same ticket at different price points over time — classic early-bird, regular, and last-minute pricing.

  1. When creating or editing a ticket, enable Multiple Price Tiers.
  2. Add each tier with its own name (e.g. "Early Bird"), price, and quantity.
  3. Tiers sell in the order you list them — once a tier sells out or its quantity is exhausted, the next tier becomes available automatically.

You can also set date-based tiers (e.g. "Early Bird until 1 August") instead of quantity-based, or combine both.

3 Hidden Tickets

Hide a ticket from your public event page while keeping it purchasable — useful for VIP access, guestlist allocations, or sponsor tickets that should only be available via a direct promo code.

  1. Edit the ticket and enable Hide this ticket.
  2. Combine with a Promo Code that reveals it, or share the direct ticket link privately.

Hidden tickets still appear in your organizer dashboard and reports — they're only hidden from public buyers who don't have the unlock code or link.

4 Product Categories

Group related tickets and products into categories for a cleaner event page — e.g. "Tickets", "Merchandise", "Add-ons".

  1. From the Tickets tab, click Add Category.
  2. Name your category and drag tickets/products into it.
  3. Reorder categories to control the order they appear on your event page.
