๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Managing Events

Configure event settings, location, SEO, and registration questions.

1 Location Settings

Set where your event takes place — whether it's a physical venue, fully online, or a hybrid event.

Physical events

Enter your venue name and address. VibePass automatically generates a Google Maps link on your event page so attendees can find directions. For venues without a fixed address (e.g. "meet at the matatu stage"), use the venue name field freely and add directions in your event description.

Online events

See Online Events for setting up virtual event details and access links.

2 Duplicating an Event

Running a recurring event — a monthly club night, a weekly market, a quarterly conference? Duplicate an existing event instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

  1. From your events list, click the menu next to the event you want to copy.
  2. Select Duplicate Event.
  3. A new draft is created with the same tickets, pricing, description, and page design — only the date is cleared for you to set.
What's copied Tickets, products, pricing, registration questions, page design, and SEO settings. Orders, attendees, and sales data are not copied — each duplicated event starts with zero sales.

3 SEO Settings

Control how your event appears in Google search results and when shared on WhatsApp, Instagram, or Twitter/X.

  • SEO title — defaults to your event title, can be customized for search
  • SEO description — the snippet shown under your link in search results and link previews
  • Social share image — defaults to your event cover image

Found under your event's Settings → SEO tab.

4 Registration Questions

Collect more than just name and email from buyers during checkout — useful for t-shirt sizes, dietary requirements, company names for corporate tickets, or anything else specific to your event.

Question types

  • Single line text (e.g. "What's your company name?")
  • Multi-line text (e.g. "Any dietary requirements?")
  • Dropdown (single selection)
  • Checkboxes (multiple selection)
  • Radio buttons

Per-order vs per-attendee

Choose whether a question is asked once per order (e.g. "How did you hear about us?") or once per attendee/ticket (e.g. "T-shirt size" — needed for every person attending). Questions can also be marked required or optional, and hidden from the customer to be visible only to you as the organizer.

5 Ticket Designer

Customize the look of the digital ticket attendees receive by email and can present at check-in.

  • Add your logo to the ticket header
  • Choose background and accent colors matching your brand
  • Include a custom footer message (e.g. venue rules, contact info)

Every ticket includes a unique QR code used for check-in scanning, regardless of design customization.
